The simpler the painting structure, the more durable – so just stick with ONE cwm:G-gel mix (ie, 1:3 up to 1:9, etc.).

Avoid extremes. The more each layer relates to another, the better.


However, whether you use 1:3, 3:1, 2:3 Galkyd-Gel:CWM, they’re all pretty close so you don’t have to worry about it. The Galkyd Gel gives durability, slightly different working properties but regardless, you'll have better adhesion and flexibility when using the GGel mixtures.
